This auction is for (1) SUPER RARE 2002-03 TOPPS FINESTGOLD REFRACTOR(XRC) ROOKIE REDEMPTION CARD OF LEBRON JAMES #'D  - 22/25. The 02-03 Topps Finest gold refractor draft pick cards were one of the earliest cards to be released for the 03-04 rookie class. The cards were issued as redemption cards in 02-03 Finest packs and expired about a year later from the release date. They are one of the few cards that picture the 03-04 rookie class in their draft day clothing/photoshoot. It is believed that not all of the cards were redeemed due to people pulling them after the expiration date, people saving unopened boxes/packs, etc. Three unredeemed Lebron (#1 Draft Pick) gold redemption cards have been previously listed on Ebay. An unredeemed card sold as high as $400. If Topps did indeed destroy the unredeemed cards as they should have, then there are actually less than 25 of these cards in existence although the card is serially #'d to 25.Since the product came out, I have seen only 10 of these cards. Three of which were the unredeemed cards. The 10 are within the collections of 3 Lebron collectors. This is by far one of Lebron's rarest, high end rookie cards. The card is in mint or better condition. This is the last Lebron Finest gold refractor I will be listing.
